He vowed to be "be looking for BAD" using the existing criminal and civil justice system, and wrote on his Truth Social platform that he is forming the AI Force "much like I did Space Force," adding he will announce the AI "Czar" in the near future. Trump also vowed not to "in any way hinder or stifle the growth of this incredible Industry," describing AI as "the next industrial revolution" that will account for 25% of the US GDP, and said "We are leading China, and the rest of the World." He compared criticism of AI's growth to other "hoaxes," listing efforts to impeach him, transgender rights and global warming. Some top AI names said earlier this week they were working on creating a standards body, with OpenAI, Google and Anthropic envisioning a self-regulatory body, amid concerns escalated by several AI agents going rogue and breaking into competitors' systems. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called for a slowdown, with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, xAI's Elon Musk and Google DeepMind chair Demis Hassabis supporting the sentiment.
