After his spin kick knockout win over Manuel Torres at UFC Baku on Saturday night, Fiziev blasted the new rankings during the post-fight press conference, stating, “New rankings system is elephant s—.” Meanwhile, his opponent Torres jumped up two places to 13 in the new lightweight top 15. Fiziev, who is 33 years old, said he is “far away from the champion” but believes he could be in the running for a shot at Charles Oliveira’s BMF belt, adding, “I think I have a name for BMF, maybe.”
