Bangladesh’s first entirely AI-generated historical drama web series, ‘Umar: The Rise of a Leader’, has been produced, with the series officially premiering on Thursday, November 5, at 7:00 PM, according to a media release. Produced by C Play, with technical AI production handled by Infrequent Creation, the project was spearheaded by Akterul Alam Tinu as writer, conceptualizer, lead prompt engineer, and primary editor. Reyad Hasan Rafi served as chief assistant and associate editor alongside associate editor Nishat Hasan Himul, Nafizul Hasan led sound engineering, and Belayet Hossain Babu was production manager. The director served as the visual reference artist for the titular lead role, while journalist-actor Ahmed Sabbir Romeo provided the visual reference for a special character. The production integrated generative AI models including Claude and Gemini for story and dialogue development, DALL·E, ChatGPT 6, and Muse for character development and plot structuring, Seedance 2.5, Kling 4, Google Flow, and Muse for video generation, and Suno and Flow Music for the original musical score and dynamic audio arrangements. Post-production, sequence cutting, and color balancing were completed using Adobe Premiere Pro, complemented by motion graphics and title sequences crafted in Adobe After Effects.
