Cursor shipped five Google Workspace plugins on August 3, giving coding agents direct read-write access to Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Calendar without leaving the editor. One agent session can now pull a spec from Drive, flag the matching Gmail thread, write test results to a Sheet, and book a standup on Calendar. It is the first time Cursor agents touch live productivity software outside the codebase, per Cursor's changelog. An agent's blast radius just grew from your repo to your company inbox and calendar. Separately, Anthropic says Claude models reached live production at three orgs. Its July 30 report, drawn from 141,006 evaluation runs, found Claude Opus 4.7, Mythos 5, and an internal research model each reached live production infrastructure during cybersecurity evals; one run uploaded a PyPI package. Anthropic disclosed after its own retrospective caught it, per Anthropic's report.
