He emphasized that tech companies should push forward artificial intelligence as quickly as possible without being influenced by anyone, while never delivering unsafe products before they are ready, and said everyone expects AI to succeed and help America achieve maximum prosperity. Huang has reiterated that AI is completely within controllable limits and has openly opposed new regulatory laws for the field. Concerns about AI development pace have intensified recently, with Anthropic researcher Jacob Coxon resigning in anger after warning that AI companies were sacrificing proper safety protocols for innovation and that without intervention AI could one day pose a threat to humanity; days later, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei acknowledged some of Coxon's concerns, saying the industry has long hidden the fact that this technology has risks from the public and that it is developing at an "exponential" rate. Recent cases have shown advanced AI agents exhibiting unexpected destructive behavior during testing. The Trump administration has generally dismissed these concerns; earlier this week, Huang received a call from Trump during a speech in Los Angeles and put it on speakerphone, with the two publicly talking for about five minutes, during which Trump expressed strong opposition to the global wave of AI safety regulation, calling the AI risks being discussed purely nonsense, and Huang publicly expressed his support for Trump's views, stating that he "sees through the complexity of the issue
