Guidewire (NYSE: GWRE) launched the Agentic Framework in its new Qusar release, enabling insurers to build, deploy, and manage AI agents on Guidewire Cloud Platform. The framework provides AI agents with secure, real-time access to policy, claims, and billing data and workflows, allowing complex, multi-step processes to run automatically so decisions that once took days can happen in minutes. Qusar includes Guidewire-built claims and underwriting agents, plus Developer Assistants that help developers ship features more than 40% faster than with generic coding assistants. Specific agents introduced include Claim Summarization for ProNavigator, which provides adjusters claim summaries; Policy Change for ProNavigator, an embedded assistant helping underwriters and customer service representatives complete policy changes faster; and Agentic First Notice of Loss (FNOL), which guides claimants through first notice of loss using conversational AI voice. Karlyn Carnahan, Executive Partner, Celent, said the framework lets insurers deploy AI within existing systems while maintaining operational control and compliance. Garrett Anderson, Chief Information Officer, Automobile Club of Southern California, said Guidewire AI innovations are helping transform support and service. Qusar also introduces Guidewire Developer and Builder Assistants that understand the Guidewire code base, programming languages, design patterns, and configurations, streamlining work across Gosu, Integrations, Jutro, and Functions, plus a Data Curation Assistant for Data Studio that converts plain language into prec.
