LG Uplus has partnered with power generation equipment specialist GnC Energy to strengthen power infrastructure stability at its AI data centers (AIDC), as announced on the 28th. The two companies signed a business agreement to cooperate on AIDC power infrastructure initiatives, including emergency generators supplied to the LG Uplus Paju AIDC now under construction in Paju, Gyeonggi Province. They will also establish a system for timely supply and response to key equipment and jointly review equipment standardization measures for future data center additions and expansions. LG Uplus expects the partnership to enhance capabilities for uninterrupted data center operations, noting it has maintained 99.999% data center operational stability over the past 27 years.
