Reckon has expanded its artificial intelligence strategy through a deeper collaboration with Amazon Web Services and new product development across its software businesses. The Australian accounting software provider is applying AI across its core accounting operations and Zebraworks, its legal technology business. Chief Executive Officer Sam Allert said the company recorded about 30% efficiency gains in product development as it embedded AI into day-to-day work, emphasizing the focus is not on cutting jobs but on changing how teams work. Allert described AI as a fundamental enabler for building products, serving customers, and operating the business, with the human-plus-AI model expected to be a key competitive advantage. AWS supports all Reckon's cloud infrastructure in Australia and NZ, and the collaboration is extending into the next phase to support Reckon's AI strategy with advanced AI tools and enablement programs. In the Legal division, Reckon has launched DataQ AI in the United States, enabling firms to extract deeper insights from billing and collections data and drive more efficient invoice-to-cash processes.
