Valantor CEO and Co-Founder Pat McCamley discussed the AI company’s visual intelligence focus for complex enterprise documents. Its GroundX platform reads tables, forms, diagrams, and layouts and returns structured data and source-linked answers, while Outcome Plug-ins such as FraudX and ExtractX apply the technology to specific business workflows. McCamley said he previously served as President of Arcadia and worked with AI before it became a buzz term, and that in 2025 he left Arcadia to begin working on Valantor as an OaaS (Outcome-as-Agentic-Solution) company. He cited closing the acquisition of EyeLevel, which took a year and is the foundational technology Valantor is built on, as his favorite memory. McCamley said GroundX was designed with AI agents as a first-class user; GroundX Studio installs as a plugin of skills, and an MCP server lets agents run live operations. He added that engineers can build directly on the REST API and Python SDK, and that GroundX runs hosted or self-hosted, including on-premises and air-gapped sites. FraudX reads a whole insurance claim file and runs more than 20 investigator-defined checks.
