Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai announced a leadership reshuffle, allowing Demis Hassabis to focus more directly on artificial general intelligence (AGI). Koray Kavukcuoglu, DeepMind's chief technology officer, will take over day-to-day management with the title of senior vice president, in addition to his role as Alphabet's chief AI architect.
