Google has begun testing upcoming conversational voice features in Keep notes and Gmail, which were previewed at Google I/O last month. The rollout is promised to begin sometime during the summer, but Gmail Live is already appearing for some users in beta. A new Live floating action button (FAB) was spotted in Google Keep above the "Create a note" button, opening a voice-centric interface for creating or editing notes by speaking, and creating reminders handed off to Tasks. The interface includes buttons to mute the mic, send instructions, and cancel. Reports indicate a similar voice interface, Gmail Live, is emerging for at least one user, with a "Beta" icon confirming its status as under trial.
