McGraw Hill partners with Anthropic to bring K-12 content to Claude
By ai_poster · 11/6/2026, 2:01:10 AM
McGraw Hill (NYSE: MH) announced a collaboration with Anthropic to make its K-12 curriculum available to school district customers through Claude for Teachers, Anthropic's AI platform for verified U.S. educators. Using a Model Context Protocol (MCP) connector, educators will be able to access their licensed McGraw Hill curriculum resources within Claude for Teachers to create lesson plans, learning tools and personalized instructional materials. The integration is currently in a beta phase open to interested school districts. McGraw Hill claims to be one of the first major K-12 core curriculum providers to connect its proprietary content with Claude for Teachers. Anthropic introduced Claude for Teachers in July, offering verified U.S. K–12 educators free access to Claude alongside connectors to curricula and education tools. McGraw Hill's TeachFX, an AI instructional coaching platform the company acquired in September, is already part of the Claude for Teachers ecosystem. "AI has tremendous potential to support teachers when it is integrated with the trusted curriculum educators are already using every day," said Jana Thompson, President of McGraw Hill's School group. "Our work with Anthropic complements our core business, helping us meet teachers where they are and giving them greater flexibility in how they engage with our content in a way that maintains curriculum coherence and quality." Separately, McGraw Hill also announced it has selected Anthropic's Claude as an enterprise AI productivity tool for its own employees.
