At SAP NOW AI Tour Southeast Asia 2026 in Singapore on 05 August 2026, SAP SE launched its AI-Bilingual Workforce Program, an initiative to equip more than 3,000 Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents with role-based business AI skills over the next three years. The event was attended by Guest of Honour, Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information. As part of the program, SAP will introduce Sector-Focused Business AI Workshops to help enterprises identify, prioritize and activate high-value AI use cases, supporting organizations over two years across advanced manufacturing, financial services, connectivity and logistics, and healthcare. These initiatives support Singapore’s National AI Impact Programme (NAIIP), which aims to help 100,000 workers become AI-bilingual and 10,000 enterprises deepen their AI adoption over the same period. The program includes new Learning Pathways covering finance, procurement, human resources, supply chain and manufacturing, marking the next phase of SAP Skills University, launched in Singapore in 2018. To date, approximately 2,400 participants from more than 70 organizations have passed SAP Skills University programs. Participants will begin with core AI concepts, including AI fundamentals, ethical AI, prompt engineering, and SAP Business AI, combining classroom training with continuous online learning.
