Meta announced updates to its artificial intelligence-powered creator assistant chatbot, including opportunity alerts, improved content creation guidance and automated comment replies. Launched in June, Meta’s creator assistant provides AI-powered guidance on opportunities across Facebook and Instagram, based on an automated analysis of what’s working in each app. The creator assistant will be able to proactively alert creators to relevant trends in their niche and highlight key trends and potential opportunities. It can also offer in-depth guidance on content creation, such as detailed plans on how to create standout content; according to Meta, creators can hand it an idea and get a storyboard and shot list back, or upload a draft before posting and get specific feedback on what’s working or could be better. The tool can also highlight the most relevant questions from viewers in the post comment section and generate replies in the creator’s voice to streamline responses. Creator assistant is also now available on the web, within Meta’s Creator Dashboard, providing expanded capacity to integrate Meta’s AI-powered tools into different workflow setups. Meta said it’s looking to bring creator assistant to more apps and tools where creators are putting together content and content plans.
