Render Networks, the system of execution for critical infrastructure, named John Sullivan as Chief Technology Officer on August 10, 2026, following the company's growth investment and acquisition of mPower Innovations. Sullivan, a technology transformation leader with over three decades of experience across startups, scale-ups, and global technology companies, will oversee scaling Render's AI and platform architecture. His prior roles include CEO and CTO, as well as Head of Solutions Architecture and CTO for ISV & SaaS at AWS. Render CEO Stephen Rose said the infrastructure industry seeks technology that helps organizations execute with greater certainty, and Sullivan's experience leading transformation through growth will help the company move faster. Sullivan will partner with Chief Product & Partnership Officer Rob Laudati, who leads product strategy and market direction, to strengthen the engineering organization while leading technology, architecture, and software delivery for the AI-first company. Sullivan joins as Render expands ClearWay, its agentic AI layer built on Databricks, which brings AI into execution through governed agents that validate work, guide decisions, and act on real-time field data. He will help scale the engineering organization and technical architecture to accelerate the next generation of AI across the Render platform.
