Natureland Wellness Group is expected to launch Natureland Plus by the end of 2026, a new concept combining AI-powered wellness assessments, smart therapy machines and robotic massage technology. Founder and CEO Fion Wu said the machines are not there to replace human therapists but to augment them, supporting human hands rather than replacing them. The concept, planned for a location along Orchard Road, will combine conventional massage services with technology, featuring AI-driven assessments designed to scan a customer’s physical condition and recommend suitable treatments. Wu said robots can offer consistency of pressure that human therapists cannot always guarantee, describing a system that can scan a customer’s back and identify treatment points, with pressure adjusted according to individual preferences. Natureland currently operates 15 outlets in Singapore and has almost 600 therapists and staff. Wu said most therapists in Singapore are already working in the company, so expansion requires new approaches. There could also be treatments combining machine and human.
