Parminder Singh has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Reliance Enterprise Intelligence Limited (REIL), a joint venture between Reliance Industries’ digital arm and Meta Platforms. The venture is structured with a 70 percent stake held by Reliance Intelligence Limited and 30 percent by Facebook Overseas Inc. Singh shared the update on X, noting he had been exploring AI through his own venture before being approached to lead the new enterprise-focused initiative. Reliance described Singh as one of Asia’s most recognised technology leaders, highlighting a career spanning Google, Apple, Twitter, and IBM. He previously served as Chief Commercial and Digital Officer at Mediacorp and co-founded ClayboxAI. Singh completed his MBA in 1993 from the University Business School at Panjab University and began his career with HCL Technologies as a regional sales manager. Akash Ambani welcomed Singh’s appointment, emphasizing its strategic importance for the company’s AI ambitions.
