Prime Video's animated series *Invincible*, starring Steven Yeun and J.K. Simmons, has been renewed for Season 6, announced during the Annecy Animation Festival. Season 5 is officially set for 2027, though Prime Video has not announced a release window yet. Jack Quaid will voice Gravitator/Chris in Season 5, with Matthew Rhys returning as Dinosaurus and Lee Pace returning as Thragg. Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Conquest will not be back. Executive producer and co-showrunner Robert Kirkman revealed the casting and renewal during a Prime Video panel at the Annecy Animation Festival on Wednesday. Regarding Aaron Paul's return as Scott Duvall, aka Powerplex, Paul previously stepped away from the role, explaining on the *Kinda Funny Games* podcast in November 2025 that he was asked to return but turned it down because voicing the character was "way too grueling on my psyche" and "a skin I didn't feel comfortable in." However, a new Instagram tease from Paul hints at a possible *Invincible* return.
