Laureate Education, Inc., serving approximately 500,000 students across Mexico and Peru, announced a three-year agreement with Google Cloud to accelerate its AI capabilities. Through this collaboration, Laureate expects to deploy Gemini Enterprise, Google Cloud Platform, Google Workspace for Education, Gemini for Education, and cloud-skills programs such as Google Cloud Skills Boost. These capabilities will unify data across hundreds of institutional applications to deliver more personalized learning and enhanced faculty support. Eilif Serck-Hanssen, President and CEO of Laureate Education, stated that the partnership puts technology in service of students and faculty. Milton Larsen, Managing Director for the LATAM Public Sector at Google Cloud, said the initiative brings Google Cloud into the hands of educators, helping students overcome information silos and retention obstacles.
