Amazon is participating in Twelve Labs’ planned $100 million Series B funding round alongside NEA and Naver Ventures. Amazon Web Services (AWS) also signed a multiyear agreement to power Twelve Labs’ AI models using Amazon Trainium chips. Twelve Labs, a San Francisco-based startup founded by Korean-born engineers, develops AI models that understand and search video content across multiple industries, including media, sports, advertising, government, and security.
