V2 AI has opened a regional hub in Singapore to expand its presence in Asia-Pacific, choosing Singapore for its role as a technology and innovation centre, government backing for artificial intelligence adoption, and the presence of multinational companies increasing spending on generative AI. The expansion comes as more large organisations in the region seek outside support to move AI projects from trials into broader business use. V2 AI builds AI systems for organisations in regulated sectors, including financial services, energy, telecommunications and government. Founded in 2023, the company already operates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Kuala Lumpur. Craig Howe, Chief Executive Officer of V2 AI, said the decision reflects a shift in customer demand across the region. The Singapore operation will be led by Hannah Williams, Managing Director, whose remit includes establishing the business locally as V2 AI builds out its regional presence. The local team will cover leadership, sales, consulting, engineering, delivery and change management to support customers and partner relationships across Asia alongside the company's existing operations in Australia and Kuala Lumpur.
