Chevron reported Q3 2026 results beating Wall Street's revenue expectations, with sales up 36.3% year on year to $67.8 billion. Its non-GAAP profit of $5.28 per share was 8.5% above analysts' consensus estimates. CEO Mike Wirth pointed to record crude throughput in refining and sustained U.S. upstream production, while Vice Chairman Mark Nelson emphasized AI-driven reliability improvements and debottlenecking projects. Chevron secured new fiscal terms in Venezuela and is ramping up joint venture output, aiming to double production by 2031 through a self-funding, low-cost development approach, with all crude marketed directly by Chevron. CFO Eimear Bonner noted, "2026 is proving to be an inflection year for AI, with more than $100 million in value capture to date."
