Luton Technologies, an AI service platform company, announced on the 29th that it will officially sponsor the "Cold Fusion" team that advanced to the finals of "DEFCON 34 CTF" in Las Vegas on the 6th of next month. DEFCON is a global hacking competition called the "Hacking Olympics," with 686 teams participating this year and 12 teams determined through 48-hour online preliminaries. Cold Fusion passed as the third place overall, the highest performance among all Korean teams, and consists of major domestic AI and security companies, including Luton, and security professionals from Korea University, Pohang University of Technology, Kyunghee University, and Dankook University. Luton sponsors Cold Fusion by providing Luton AX Large Language Model (LLM) router product credits and uniforms, and supports frontier models as well as high-performance open-source models such as kimi-k3 and glm-5.2. Han Seung-woo, chief information officer and chief technology officer at Rutton, stated, "As a leader in AI popularization, we have reduced the importance of security and strengthened related capabilities more than any other company."
