Startups Accelerator: Google picks 20 Indian AI firms for 2026 batch

Google has selected 20 Indian AI firms for the 2026 batch of its Google for Startups Accelerator programme, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Earlier in April, Google invited AI-first startups to the annual mentorship programme in India, receiving a good response from over 2000 budding AI firms. Over the next three months, Google will work closely with these companies to help them refine their products, optimise their architecture, and prepare for scaled deployment. The programme offers equity-free support, including collaboration with Google experts and access to advanced AI models and tools such as Gemini, Gemma, Imagen, Veo, and Lyria. Startups will also receive access to free Cloud TPUs, Google Cloud credits, and 1:1 guidance from specialists across Google DeepMind, Cloud, Health, and Android. Weekly tracking with dedicated success managers is also provided.
