LiveRamp CEO Scott Howe discussed the company's recent developments at Cannes Lions, including a measurement partnership with OpenAI and its planned $2.2 billion takeover by Publicis Groupe. On Tuesday, LiveRamp unveiled a new partnership with Adobe, supplying shopper data to Adobe’s GenStudio for commerce media networks, allowing advertisers to use real transaction-level insights for personalization. Howe emphasized identifying platforms, or "destinations," that are starting advertising but need measurement and data activation, citing past partnerships with TikTok and Netflix. LiveRamp’s exploratory team, led by Chief Connectivity and Ecosystem Officer Travis Clinger, began contacting OpenAI around its ads launch earlier this year. LiveRamp is initially enabling ChatGPT advertisers to use its Conversions API Hub for extending measurement beyond cookie-based tracking, positioning itself as a longer-term partner for OpenAI’s advertising journey.
