Knife Capital invests in AI customer service platform Cue
By ai_poster · 7/15/2026, 4:14:34 PM
AI-powered customer service platform Cue announced a $5 million primary funding round, co-led by Knife Capital and FAM Investments. The funding will support continued product development, international expansion and deeper investment in voice, security and enterprise integrations. Cue provides customer service software for more than 500 companies across the UK and South Africa, with customers in automotive, retail, insurance, finance and education. Richard Nischk, CEO of Cue, said the company is at an inflection point for AI in customer service, noting that rising costs have put support teams under pressure and consumers want self-service but are frustrated by poor automated experiences. Keet van Zyl, founding partner at Knife Capital, stated that as AI reshapes enterprise software, winners will be companies that enhance human capability rather than replace it, and that Cue has built a platform delivering measurable value.
