CoreWeave Inc. announced a multi-year agreement with Solidigm to secure priority access to enterprise SSD capacity, aiming to address storage as a growing constraint in AI infrastructure planning. The deal is intended to ensure storage availability aligns with the expansion of CoreWeave's GPU capacity, preventing delays in data availability and infrastructure deployment. CoreWeave has reported strong performance in MLPerf benchmarks and counts major AI and technology companies among its customers. In 2026, CoreWeave announced major agreements with Meta, Anthropic and Perplexity, with the Meta agreement alone representing approximately $21 billion of potential infrastructure revenue through 2032. The Solidigm agreement is positioned as a supporting element of this broader strategy. Separately, competitor Nebius Group N.V. introduced an asset-light AI cloud business model that allows infrastructure partners to deploy its platform within their own data centers, and unveiled AI Cloud Aether 3.6 with enhancements in developer productivity, security, governance and storage performance. Nebius also inked an agreement to acquire Eigen AI in May. Microsoft is capitalizing on AI business momentum and Copilot adoption alongside the expansion of Azure cloud infrastructure.
