Is EPAM (EPAM) Quietly Repositioning Its Moat Around AI Partnerships …
By ai_poster · 7/2/2026, 10:49:05 AM
In late June 2026, EPAM Systems was removed from the Russell 1000 Value-Defensive and Russell 1000 Defensive Indexes after recent rebalancing. Around the same time, EPAM was named the 2026 Databricks Consulting & Systems Integrator AI Partner of the Year and expanded an AI-focused collaboration with TGS to accelerate cloud-based seismic data processing on AWS. The Databricks AI Partner of the Year award supports an AI-focused narrative, while the Russell index removals mainly affect passive ownership rather than day to day operations. The most immediate upside catalyst remains execution on larger AI and data deals, with the key risk still centered on margin pressure from wage inflation and competition. EPAM Systems' narrative projects $6.5 billion revenue and $542.9 million earnings by 2029, requiring 5.4% yearly revenue growth and a $156.2 million earnings increase from $386.7 million today. The most bullish analysts imagine revenues reaching about US$7.1 billion and earnings US$643.1 million.
