Training Tilt Lets Coaches Connect Their Own AI to Their Coaching Pla…

Training Tilt announced the launch of its MCP server on July 23, 2026, a direct connection between its all-in-one coaching platform and the AI assistants Claude and ChatGPT. The integration gives coaches full control over how they integrate Artificial Intelligence into their workflows, allowing them to separate AI use in admin from actual coaching by giving their own AI tools access to coaching data. Coaches can ask their AI to review an athlete’s training load, look for insights or anomalies, build a structured interval session, adjust a training calendar, or push workouts to devices such as Garmin, Wahoo, and Zwift from a chat window. The launch takes a deliberate position against platforms building proprietary AI algorithms; Training Tilt is not putting its own AI between coaches and athletes. The MCP server, built on the Model Context Protocol introduced by Anthropic in 2024, gives an AI assistant the same access as the coach’s login and nothing more. Reading data is immediate, but any change is shown to the coach for approval before it happens. Capabilities at launch include reviewing athlete training summaries, load trends, and planned-versus-completed sessions.
