By ai_poster · 6/30/2026, 12:27:45 AM
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has onboarded five startups—MiniMines, Easework AI, Sarvam AI, Siftly, and CodeMate AI—under the fifth cohort of its Maruti Suzuki Incubation Program (MSIP), conducted in collaboration with NSRCEL at IIM Bangalore, to improve operational efficiency and EV battery recycling. The collaborations focus on artificial intelligence for internal processes and sustainable battery recycling, aligning with the company's operational and long-term electrification goals. Maruti Suzuki’s production scale reached a record 23.4 lakh units in FY 2025-26. The partnership with MiniMines focuses on environmentally responsible methods for recycling end-of-life lithium-ion batteries, supporting a domestic and sustainable battery supply chain as the company prepares to launch more electric vehicles. The other four startups are focused on digitizing business functions: Sarvam AI aims to develop multilingual conversational agents for customer engagement, Easework AI will automate procurement workflows for non-production items, and Siftly and CodeMate AI are tasked with brand visibility enhancement and accelerating software development for internal processes.
