Google Meet's "Take notes for me" tool, which uses Gemini to generate summaries of calls, is set to expand from text-only notes to include screenshots. Currently, the feature is text-based, but Google has informed Workspace admins that notes will soon be able to incorporate screenshots of graphs, charts, and diagrams from presentations. Despite "Take notes for me" recently becoming available to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers, Google has not mentioned making this screenshot tool available to them upon its arrival, focusing instead on privacy concerns for organizations. The tool is not yet ready for use, and a formal announcement is expected "in the coming weeks."
