Carillon Tower Advisers released its second-quarter 2026 investor letter for the Carillon Eagle Small Cap Growth Fund, noting small-cap stocks rallied broadly as the Russell 2000 Growth Index rose 25.71% while Value gained 17.24%. Information Technology led sectors at 46.79%, followed by Real Estate at 25.91%, Industrials at 25.80%, and Health Care at 25.54%, while Energy was the sole sector in the red at -2.40%. The letter highlighted SiTime Corporation (NASDAQ:SITM), a designer of silicon timing systems, which contributed 1.68% to the fund's returns this quarter. SiTime closed at $614.27 per share on September 18, 2026, returned 5.73% over the past month, and is up 102.14% over the past year, with a market capitalization of $18.40 billion and a 52-week range of $243.68 to $901.81. The fund said SiTime delivered earnings well above expectations, driven by modern AI data center demand for AI-processing semiconductors, optical components, and network switches and servers, and announced a plan to acquire a competitor's precision timing business, strengthening its competitive position, gaining scale, and providing a new installed base for cross-selling.
